Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt is political scientist and professor of Global and European Governance at the Technical University of Munique. Until 2021, Eugénia was the reform dean of the Bavarian School of Public Policy and founding dean of the TUM School of Governance.

Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt received in 1998 the Prize Europe for the Diploma thesis of the German Association of Berlin Merchants and Industrialists; between 2007 and 2008 he received the scholarship Jean Monnet Fellowship da European University Institute (Florence); in 2010 the scholarship Heisenberg, from German Science Foundation (DFG); in 2012 the prize ‘Starting Grant Consolidator do European Research Council’, from the research “Delegation of power to International Organizations and Institutional Empowerment over Time” on the amount of 1,3 M€; and, in 2015, the Fullbright scholarship from the Center for European Studies, from Harvard University.

She was professor in many universities: Humboldt-University of Berlin, Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Free University of Berlin, Technical University of Dresden.

She is graduated in European Studies by Technical University Lisbon and holds a PhD in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin. She is the author of dozens of publications.

Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt is a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2018.
