Jorge Magalhães Correia has a degree in Law and is registered with the Bar Association. He began his professional life as a professor at the Faculty of Law in Lisbon. And throughout his career, he has held positions at the I.G.F. – General Inspectorate of Finance and C.M.V.M. – Commission of Markets and Securities.

He joined the current Fidelidade group in 1994, assuming, since 1998, executive management positions in the various companies of the group, in the insurance area and in the hospital area.
He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fidelidade Companhia de Seguros, S.A., Chairman of the Board of Directors of Luz Saúde, S.A., Vice-Chairman of APS – Associação Portuguesa de Seguradores, member of The Geneva Association and Vice-Chairman of Banco Millennium BCP .
