The Portuguese Diaspora Council held the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Diaspora Council, at Palácio da Cidadela, in Cascais, on 22nd December 2015.
There were 150 participants, of which 50 were members of the Council, the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs (Honorary Vice-President of the Council), the Ministry of Economy, the President of Partido Social Democrata, other government members, many institutional personalities and entrepreneurial leaders.
On this meeting the discussed themes were XXI professional skills, the development of the audiovisual industry in Portugal, the prevention of diseases and health promotion, and the exportation of services.
The President of the Portuguese Republic and Honorary President of the Portuguese Diaspora Council, Professor Aníbal Cavaco Silva, participated in the closing ceremony.

The Portuguese Diaspora Council held its first Advisory Council meeting of 2024 on April 2nd at The Yeatman Hotel, marking the beginning of a new phase of strategy and planning.
