During the official visit of the Prime Minister to China, the Minister of Economy met with Advisor Carlos Álvares to explore cooperation opportunities and promote the Greater Bay Area as a strategic platform for Portuguese companies.
As part of the official visit of Prime Minister Luís Montenegro to the People’s Republic of China, the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Manuel Castro Almeida, met in Macau with Carlos Álvares, Advisor of the Asia Regional Hub.
During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation with AICEP were identified to promote the Greater Bay Area, highlighting Macau as a strategic platform for Portuguese companies seeking access to a market of 80 million people, representing 12% of China’s GDP.
