On September 21, the Advisors of the Portuguese Diaspora U.S. Regional Hub attended a reception for His Excellency the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, during the presidential visit to New York as part of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.

The event provided a moment of dialogue, with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities shaping Portugal’s international presence.

Following the reception, participants enjoyed a cocktail at the InterContinental Barclay Hotel, in an informal setting that encouraged networking among the Advisors, UN staff, and members of the Portuguese community in New York.
