Luncheon with the Ambassador of Portugal in Mozambique

Members of the CDP’s Africa Regional Hub met with the Portuguese Ambassador and Consul in Mozambique to strengthen collaboration and explore new opportunities for regular engagement with local partners.

On September 16, the Advisors of the Africa Regional Hub of the Portuguese Diaspora Council (CDP) attended a luncheon with Jorge Monteiro, the Ambassador of Portugal to Mozambique, and Fernando Morgado, the Consul of Portugal, who demonstrated a deep understanding of the work carried out by the CDP.

During the meeting, all Advisors had the opportunity to introduce themselves and share their perspectives. As an outcome, the participants agreed to explore the establishment of regular breakfast meetings between the CDP, the Embassy, and other partners, as well as thematic sessions with local entities, to be scheduled periodically by mutual agreement.
