António Calçada de Sá and members of the CDP’s Spain Regional Hub attended the 25th anniversary celebration of the Nueva Economía Fórum in Madrid, presided over by King Felipe VI, where European Council President António Costa received the Fórum Europa 2025 Award.
On September 29, António Calçada de Sá, President of the Board of the Portuguese Diaspora Council (CDP), together with several members of the Spain Regional Hub, attended the 25th Anniversary Ceremony of the Nueva Economía Fórum, held at the Teatro Real in Madrid and presided over by His Majesty King Felipe VI.
During the event, the Fórum Europa 2025 Award was presented to António Costa, President of the European Council, in recognition of his distinguished career and commitment to the core values of the European Union.
The participation of the CDP and its Spain Regional Hub in this important celebration highlights the Council’s dedication to strengthening Portugal’s representation abroad and fostering connections that promote dialogue, cooperation, and the international visibility of Portuguese leadership.
