President of the Portuguese Diaspora Council Meets with Foreign Affairs Minister to Strengthen Cooperation

On 6 November, the President of the Board of the Portuguese Diaspora Council, Eng. António Calçada de Sá, met with the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs and Honorary Vice-President of the Council, Dr. Paulo Rangel.

The two-hour meeting focused on aligning priorities and strengthening cooperation between the Portuguese diplomatic corps and the Portuguese Diaspora Council.

During the discussions, the importance of closer institutional ties and the active role of council members in sharing their perspectives with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Portugal’s representation abroad was highlighted.

The meeting underlines the joint commitment to bringing the Portuguese diaspora closer to the Government and enhancing Portugal’s presence internationally.
