The Diaspora Counselor and Vice-Provost of University of Maryland in Baltimore County (UMBC), António Moreira, was awarded in Brazil, on March 20, 2019, on the I International Symposium of Biopharmaceuticals. 

António Moreira received an award during the I International Symposium of Biopharmaceuticals, organized by ACFB/ANF with a partnership with BD, through a Technical Cooperation Protocol with Sindusfarma, after the lecture “Tecnologias nos processos de produção de Biofármacos em outros Países”. The Portuguese Diaspora Counselor was surprised with a Tribute and Grant has Foreign Honorary Member (USA) of Academia de Ciências Farmacêuticas do Brasil.

On his speech he talked about the importance of innovation and integration between countries and complimented the symposium organization for such relevant themes on the development of the scientific society.
