The Honorary Council of Portugal in Houston participated as a speaker in Texas EU-Business Summit 2018, whose main team was the business opportunities in Europe.

José Ivo, counselor of the Portuguese Diaspora and Honorary Council of Portugal in Houston, participated as a speaker in Texas EU-Business Summit 2018, in May 8th.

The event, which the vice-Senior-President of the Division of Oil, Gas & Chemicals of Bechtel Group attended, had as the main theme the opportunities of expansion to Europe and it had as a target entrepreneurs and economic development professionals seeking to expand their footprint in Europe.The summit builds on that footprint, focusing on promoting the international trade capacity of those Texas entities creating greater awareness regarding the benefits of exporting.
