Ana Cerdeira, PhD, brings nearly two decades of experience in global business development and strategic portfolio management. Before joining Grünenthal as VP and Head of the New Products Commercial Team, Ana held several leadership positions at Molecular Partners, including Vice President of Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management, and at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, as Vice President of Emerging Markets Portfolio Management.

Previously, Ana held various roles at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, including Product Development Leader (CMC). Ana holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, and a Ph.D. from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), Switzerland.

Ana Cerdeira has been Portugal’s World Advisor since March 2025.
