Ana Luisa Baptista is the Global Vice President Global External Communications for Mars, Incorporated, based at its global headquarters in McLean, Virginia, USA. Mars, Incorporated is a privately held, family-owned multinational with a diversified portfolio and annual revenues in excess of 47 billion dollars. Ana joined Mars in the UK in 2018 as Corporate Affairs Director for Mars Wrigley UK.

Previously, she spent 10 years at Nestlé UK and Ireland, holding various Corporate Affairs positions, most recently as Head of Corporate Media Relations. Ana started her career in Lisbon as a Finance Graduate for L’Oreal and then spent a few years in Brussels as a consultant. Ana has more than 20 years of international experience in corporate affairs, having successfully led communication strategies, government affairs and public policy for some of the world’s leading FMCG brands. With a strong sense of results and values, and a collaborative style, Ana has an enormous capacity to inspire change, nurture talent and build high-performance teams.

Ana has a degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Masters in European Affairs from the College of Europe. In addition to Portuguese, Ana speaks English, Spanish and some French.
