Ângela Costa Simões is a highly accomplished communications professional with an extensive career spanning 24 years, marked by her proficiency in developing innovative and impactful communication strategies. Her multifaceted expertise encompasses various domains, including entrepreneurship, consumer product manufacturing, nonprofit management, and strategic consultancy.

Graduating from the University of San Francisco in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in English, Ângela laid the foundation for a remarkable career journey.

Ângela Costa Simões establish Riso Books in 2013, and served on the Board of Directors for PALCUS (Portuguese American Leadership Council of the United States) since 1999. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of West to West from 2016 to 2018. Since October 2015, Angela has brought her wealth of experience and expertise to the table as a PR and Communications Consultant.

Ângela Costa Simões is a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since november 2023.
