Anthony Correa led the proprietary trading division of the Nomura Asset Investment Group starting in 1998. He was one of the Asian pioneers in alternative and structured securities, including distressed debt trading, pre-IPO investments, structured credit, and merger arbitrage.

He entered the hedge fund sector in 2005 and established several businesses in the Asia-Pacific region for global asset managers, including Polygon Investment Partners, based in London, and Taconic Capital, based in New York, where he was a General Partner. He is a certified accountant by training and a co-founding partner of Guardian Capital, where he serves on its Investment Committee.
