António Azevedo Campos is the Co-Founder and CEO of HUB2ENERGY, a Kuwait-based company that develops projects for the oil and energy industry through international partnerships, focusing on decentralization, decarbonization, and digitalization.

With over 25 years of experience in business management and the construction sector, he has been living in the Middle East since 2008, accumulating nearly two decades of experience in the region and deep knowledge of local markets. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives that strengthen strategic relationships and engagement with senior leadership in the sector, promoting sustainability, technological modernization, and knowledge transfer.

In addition to HUB2ENERGY, António is also a Shareholder and Director at AGM/Abyar Kuwait Engineering and Contracting, where he plays an active role in strategic management and the development of the engineering and construction sector. A Kuwait resident for the past 10 years, he also serves as President of the Portuguese Business Council Kuwait and as an Advisory Board Member of the Consulate of the Portuguese Embassy in Abu Dhabi, helping to bridge regional market expertise with global opportunities.

He has consistently invested in executive education and energy sector specialization, holding an Executive MBA, a degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Portugal, and advanced training in decarbonization, including certification in Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) from the University of Edinburgh.

António is a member of the UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Community and contributes to several working groups within the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA), helping to shape policies and strategies for decarbonization. He is also a member of SEDES – Association for Economic and Social Development, Portugal’s oldest think tank, where he engages in strategic discussions on public policy, democracy, humanism, and socioeconomic development.

Focused on value creation, António leads initiatives that foster technology transfer, drive scientific advancement, and enhance global competitiveness.
