Arthur Guimarães is Chief Operating Officer at the Office of the Chief Investment Officer at University of California, since 2014, leading the Defined Contribution Program.

In 2016, he was considered ‘Chief Investment Officer Top 40 under 40’ and won the ‘Rising Star Award’ by the Institutional Investor.

During his almost 20 years professional career, Arthur Guimarães worked in companies such as PwC, Manulife Financial and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), in Canada.

He has a degree in Accounting for the York University, Schulich School of Business, where he was distinguished by the Dean’s List.

Arthur Guimarães has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2019.
