Bruno Amaro Almeida is a technology executive based in Helsinki, with extensive experience in IT operations, cybersecurity, cloud and digital transformation in regulated environments. He currently serves as Interim SVP, IT (CIO) at Fortum, a leading energy company, where he supports business continuity, strategic priorities and operational excellence during a period of transition.
Throughout his career, he has led global teams, developed and implemented technology strategies, and worked in environments requiring strong alignment between business, governance and technology execution. He is also a regular speaker at international conferences and has contributed to the technology community through articles, advisory boards and initiatives focused on cloud, security, data and AI.

Born in Portugal, Bruno combines a strong technical background with executive experience, having held leadership positions at Fortum, Futurice and F-Secure. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Coimbra and maintains an active interest in the evolving role of technology in creating business value.
