Bruno Casadinho is Group Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Capgemini for the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region, where he leads the Engineering & R&D business, currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Originally from Lisbon, he began his professional career in Portugal and has held positions of increasing responsibility in multinational companies in the technology and engineering sectors.


With over 20 years of international experience, he has lived and worked in countries such as Portugal, Tunisia, France, Japan, China, India, Australia, and Singapore, leading multidisciplinary teams in diverse and demanding contexts. He holds a degree in Management Informatics and has completed advanced executive training in management at the Kellogg School of Management (USA) and the Indian Institute of Management (India). He began by leading areas such as telecommunications, transport, and energy, and quickly took on global business unit leadership roles. He served as Managing Director of Altran Portugal and led its integration into Capgemini in 2020, a process involving more than 3,000 employees and competence centers in Lisbon, Porto, Fundão, and Tunisia.


Among the projects he has led are the creation of innovation centers in artificial intelligence, 5G, and quantum computing, as well as next-generation automotive engineering labs in Japan. In parallel, he has continuously worked to mentor young talent, focusing on diversity and inclusion. He dedicates one hour per week to coaching sessions with early-career employees and is an active advocate for the promotion of Portuguese talent abroad. He was a board member of APDC – the Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications, where he co-led strategic thinking initiatives and content production on innovation and sustainability.


In 2018, he was recognized as one of the 20 most promising Portuguese leaders under 40 by Jornal Expresso and was recently awarded the Eng. Exec distinction by Engineers Australia, recognizing his leadership trajectory. He is currently one of the most prominent faces of Portuguese engineering worldwide and an example of leadership with strong roots in Portugal.Bruno Casadinho has been Portugal’s World Advisor since June 2025.
