Carlos Alves founded Omatapalo – Engenharia e Construções, SA, in 2003, and since then it has been headquartered in Huíla, Angola. Carlos was responsible for the group’s various expansions across the African continent, including to Namibia, Luanda do Norte and, more recently, South Africa. The Angolan company has also been present in Portugal since 2015.
Carlos Alves was also responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio, which is currently not only associated with the construction sector, but also with agribusiness, energy production and distribution, and retail construction.
