Her experience as a consultant at Kaizen and, currently, as a Global Marketing and Sales Specialist at Hitachi Energy has given her a broad perspective on project management, innovation, and operational efficiency in diverse international contexts.

However, her move to Dubai was more than just a professional challenge – it was a test of resilience, adaptability, and personal growth. She learned to manage distance, build a new support network, and understand the true value of the Portuguese community abroad.

Academically, Catarina Bukovac holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Instituto Superior Técnico.

Catarina Stepanov Bukovac has been a Young Advisor at the Portuguese Diaspora Council since June 2025.
