Daniel Elias is currently the Director of Green H2 Atlantic.

Previously, he served as Director for Namibia and São Tomé and Príncipe, CEO of Petrogal Brazil, and Country Chair at Galp Brazil. In addition, he held the position of Chairman of the Board of ABEP (Brazilian Association of Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Companies).

Daniel Elias is a passionate energy sector professional, having started his career at Schlumberger and Transocean. Throughout his career, he has lived and worked on four continents: Africa, South America, Europe, and Asia.

Academically, he holds an MBA from INSEAD (France/Singapore), a postgraduate degree in Energy from Harvard Business School (USA) and COPPE/UFRJ (Brazil), and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IST (Lisbon) and the University of Glasgow (UK).

Daniel Elias has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since November 2023.
