David Villa de Vasconcelos is currently responsible at Bank of America for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) corporate banking business in Southern Europe.

He began his professional career at BBVA in Spain, after earning a degree in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

In 2017, he joined Standard Chartered Bank in Paris, serving as Executive Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) for France and Southern Europe.

In 2022, he joined Bank of America as Director in the corporate banking division, responsible for FIG coverage in Southern Europe.

In addition to his career in finance, David is also the co-founder of Old Jeffrey, a bespoke clothing company established in 2016 in Spain, with the mission of offering high-quality products made in Spain and Portugal.

David Villa de Vasconcelos has been Portugal’s World Advisor since March 2025.
