Diogo Aires Coelho holds a degree in Economics from ISEG and a Master’s in Management (CEMS MiM) with a major in Finance from Nova SBE. He has over eight years of experience in strategic consulting at Bain & Company, having worked in Portugal, Spain, Chile, Brazil, and, over the past nearly four years, in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. He is currently a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout his career at Bain, he has led teams and managed strategic projects, advising governments, investors, and companies on areas such as strategy, investments, and operational transformation. He was one of the founding leaders of the Sports practice in Bain Europe and the Middle East, specializing in the sports sector, with a focus on football, strategic investment, club professionalization, and the development of public policies for sport.

In addition to the sports sector, he has worked on projects in Education, Media & Telecommunications, Private Equity, and Mega-Projects, gaining extensive experience in strategy, cost optimization, due diligence, and operational excellence.

Diogo has been a Young Advisor on the Portuguese Diaspora Council and is a member of the Sports Competence Center since July 2024.
