Diogo Aires Coelho holds a Master’s in Management (CEMS MiM) with a major in Finance from Nova SBE and has over nine years of experience in strategic consulting, having worked in Portugal, Spain, Chile, Brazil, and, over the past five years, in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. He is currently a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), based in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout his career, he has led teams and developed strategic projects for governments, investors, and companies, focusing on strategy, investment, and transformation. In recent years, he has specialized in the sports sector, with a particular focus on football, investment, club and league professionalization, and public policy for sport. He currently co-leads BCG’s sports practice in the Middle East.

Beyond sports, he has worked on projects in the Education, Media & Telecommunications, Private Equity, and Mega-Projects sectors, building experience in strategy, cost optimization, due diligence, and operational excellence.

His experience also includes a role in the Business Development team at SONAE MC and serving as a Teaching Assistant in the Master’s in Management program at Nova SBE.

Diogo has been a Young Advisor on the Portuguese Diaspora Council and is a member of the Sports Competence Center since July 2024.
