Fernando Costa Lima is a non-executive director of Banco Comercial Português, a non-executive director of Euronext Lisbon and Guest Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto.
Throughout his career, he held positions as General Director of the Porto Stock Exchange, in the late 1980s; in 1991, he was Auditor General of the Securities Market, he was the first president of CMVM (Portuguese Securities Commission), between 1991 and 1995, CEO of the Portuguese Investment Promotion Agency, between 2002 and 2006, as well as director of Banco Português de Investimento, Central Director of Banco BPI, and individual member of the CMVM Advisory Board.
Fernando Costa Lima has a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto (1980) and an MBA from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1984). Founding member of the Fraud Economy and Management Observatory, of which he is chairman of the General Assembly.
