Francisco Carneiro is a Senior Data Engineer at Agicap, joining the data team that supports the needs of the company’s main internal departments by maintaining, building, and improving systems that address those needs. He previously held the position of Lead Data Engineer at Veolia.

He is passionate about cutting-edge areas of technology and data: Big Data, Cloud, Machine Learning, IoT, Industry 4.0, and their application in data-driven industries, both from a technical and a strategic perspective. Francisco Carneiro holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a certificate in Data Science from the Université de Toulouse.

Francisco Carneiro has been a Young Advisor at the Conselho da Diáspora Portuguesa since July 2024.
