Gonçalo Traquina is a Partner at KPMG and a regional leader in Customer Experience and Digital Transformation, with over 25 years of international experience. He has worked across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia, supporting governments, regulators, and large organizations in customer- and citizen-centric transformation programs.
He leads KPMG’s Customer Experience Advisory practice in the Middle East and serves on the region’s Board Nominations Committee. Previously, he headed Management Consulting for the financial services sector in the UAE and Oman, strengthening the firm’s Customer Consulting offering and driving digital transformation initiatives.
An expert in customer experience, service modernization, digital channels, contact centers, and financial services transformation, he has strong involvement in Open Banking and Open Finance. He began his career at Deloitte and holds a degree in Economics, an MBA, and executive education from Oxford, Stanford, and Toronto.
A former National Champion and member of the Portuguese National Badminton Team, he is recognized for his strategic vision and execution capabilities, helping organizations transition toward more digital and customer-centric operating models.
