Jack A. Prazeres was born in Portugal on November 30, 1962, and immigrated to Toronto, Canada, in September 1974. In 1983, he began his business career in the masonry industry, where he founded a successful company. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he later expanded his professional path by founding Senso Group Building Supplies.
Alongside his business activities, Jack also played an important role in the media, having served as editor of the Portuguese Post newspaper and currently as the editor of Senso Magazine. Despite his many professional commitments, he remains deeply connected to his family—his wife Otilia and their two children, Cynthia and Jason.
Throughout his life, Jack has generously dedicated his time, experience, and leadership to numerous community organizations and fundraising committees.
He has led and actively participated in many construction and fundraising initiatives for organizations such as the Portuguese Cultural Centre of Mississauga, the Luso Canadian Charitable Society, among others.
Jack A. Prazeres remains a true pillar of the Portuguese-Canadian community, standing out for his exemplary leadership, philanthropic dedication, and tireless civic engagement.
