PhD in Mathematics and editor of the bilingual Portuguese-Slovenian magazine Sardinha. He has lived in the Slovenian capital since 2007 and has been organizing events for several years to promote the Portuguese language and culture. He came to Ljubljana to study and explore the surprising points of connection between the two cultures.

He currently works at the UNESCO International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) as a Senior Researcher, but has also led the Tukadmunga art gallery and was part of a popular electronic music duo.
