João Pedro Parreira has been an international expatriate for over 20 years, mainly in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. For the last 15 years, João Parreira has worked for the Mota-Engil Group, where he has developed a wide range of skills outside the Group’s core business in several key sectors, namely Infrastructure (Top 2 in Latin America as a developer of concessions in the region and with more than $3.5 Bn USD invested) and Energy (particularly in Mexico, leading the creation of the first private generation operator in 2016 in the new open market and the creation of a leading commercialisation company, currently a Top 3 player). João Parreira is also the leader of multidisciplinary teams in different countries in the Latam region, focused on innovation and value creation.
