Luis Gandara da Silva born in Portugal (1966), married with two daughters, has an academic training that include courses in Harvard Business School graduate (2008), and Marketing from Catolica University.
In 1993, joined Sogrape as Area Manager. Gandara da Silva has been for more than 30 years in the Beverage Industry and upon completing his Marketing program at Columbia University, in 2000, it was named Managing Director of Evaton, Inc USA.
Under Gandara da Silva leadership, Evaton became one of the US leading wine and marketing importers.
Under his direction, Gandara da Silva diversified the Evaton portfolio and it was a driving force in expanding his business throughout the U.S.
Gandara da Silva served 4 years as Vice President of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in New York City.
In 2019 it was given to Gandara da Silva a new assignment as Managing Director of “Greater China” with aim to develop the important Chinese market.
