Luís Miguel Rodrigues is an executive with over 30 years of global experience in urban development, infrastructure, real estate, and construction, recognized for his strategic vision and leadership in executing megaprojects across the Middle East, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. He specializes in the planning, management, and financing of complex projects, including public-private partnerships, affordable housing, and environmental initiatives, with extensive experience in working with multilateral banks, sovereign wealth funds, and private investors.
Throughout his career, he has held prominent positions such as Senior Vice President at Alliad, CEO of Citicc Africa Holding Limited, Regional Manager at Surbana Jurong and SMEC, and CEO of Parque das Nações during Expo 98 in Lisbon, contributing to an urban renewal project valued at $2.2 billion.
He holds a degree in Engineering and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, an MBA from the Lisbon MBA (Nova/Católica/MIT Sloan), and additional leadership and management training at INSEAD and Harvard Business School Online. Fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, he combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and the ability to engage global stakeholders in delivering sustainable and innovative urban projects.
