Maria began her career in London in banking, working at JPMorgan in FX Sales (2013) and Goldman Sachs in the Securities Division (2015), where she built an equity sales franchise focused on Spain and Portugal. She later moved to New York to join a high-growth tech start up, Afiniti in 2018, an applied artificial intelligence company that uses advanced analytics to improve customer interactions and business performance for major corporates. At Afiniti, as Vice President of Client Services, Maria took on a broad, cross-functional role, working closely with marketing, sales, and executive leadership to strengthen how the company went to market and served its largest clients. She helped shape sales methodologies and pipeline discipline, established and ran the global Customer Advisory Board with top clients, and supported the Chief Customer Officer on strategic initiatives. Maria has recently left Afiniti and is exploring new opportunities as well as helping to manage her family office.

Maria holds a BSc in Management from the University of Warwick and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
