Nuno Mota Pinto has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Duro Felguera since 2024 and a member of the Board of the Fundação da Casa de Bragança since 2025. He has also been a Board Member of the UNHCR Foundation – Portuguese Chapter since 2021.

Between 2018 and 2024, he served as a Non-Executive Director of Montepio Crédito and Montepio Holding. He was also Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Finibanco Angola from 2018 to 2023 and an Executive Director of Banco Montepio from 2018 to 2022, having also served as a Director of Banco de Empresas Montepio.

Between 2003 and 2018, he served as Alternate Executive Director and Board Member of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). He also represented Portugal on the Donors Committee of the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank Group and served on the Council of the Global Environment Facility.

Graduated in Economy for the University of Coimbra, Nuno Mota Pinto started his career in 1994 in Banco Português de Investimento (BPI) having worked in the areas of the Investment and Commercial Banks, in the departments of Corporate Finance, Large Corporations and of Project Finance and Municipal and Institutional Bank until 2003.

In 2001, he did an MBA on INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

Over time, he has been a member of the governing bodies of many international chambers of commerce and professional and industrial associations.

He is a member of the advisory board of the Director of the Economy Faculty of University of Coimbra and he is also a member of the advisory board of a development program of Calouste Gulbenkian program.

He is a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2013.
