Patrícia Gonçalves currently serves as Lead in Innovation and Technology at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, where she works with startups in emerging technologies, including quantum computing and artificial intelligence, supporting their growth acceleration and access to public and private investment. She leads strategic partnerships and international impact projects, particularly at the intersection of sustainability and cutting-edge technologies—areas in which she believes Portugal can and should play a more proactive global role.
She recently completed an MBA at the University of Oxford, supported by a full scholarship from the Laidlaw Foundation. Since then, she has organized inter-institutional events with the Blavatnik School of Government and the World Economic Forum, represented the university at COP28, and contributed to international debates on sustainability and public policy.
Prior to this, she worked at Deloitte in London, collaborating with the UK government on designing operational models and innovative services. This experience provided her with a strong combination of strategic vision, practical execution, and commitment to impact, which continues to guide her professional trajectory.
Patrícia Gonçalves has been a Young Advisor at the Portuguese Diaspora Council since December 2025.
