Paulo Garcia is, as of 2021, CFO of Walmart Mexico and Latin America (Walmex), the largest company by market value in Latin America, valued at $70 billion.

Previously, Paulo Garcia served as CFO Europe and Indonesia (2019-2021) of Zandaam-based Dutch retailer AholdDelhaize. His previous experience was at the Unilever company, where he worked for 22 years, since the beginning of his career in 1997. During his career at Unilever, Paulo Garcia held several financial positions in different Unilever subsidiaries around the world, as CFO of Unilever Spain, CFO of Unilever CEE and CFO of Unilever Europe.

Paulo Garcia has a degree in Economics from Universidade Católica de Lisboa and participated in an exchange program with Tilburg University.

Paulo Garcia has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since July 2023.
