Raquel Mendes has extensive experience in European Affairs, Political Affairs, Stakeholder Management, Corporate Communication, and Brand Management. Throughout her career, she has worked at the European and international levels, gaining, particularly through her experience with European institutions, deep knowledge of European Union policies and strategies, with a focus on renewable energy and climate policy.

She has developed a comprehensive understanding of various European networks, collaborating across multiple areas of the energy sector, demonstrating solid knowledge of both governmental and corporate environments, and interacting with over 20 different countries.

In addition to her professional work, she remains actively involved with the academic community, having taught at the master’s level on renewable energy at Universidad Europea de Madrid and on Corporate Diplomacy at ISCSP – Lisbon. She values the synergy between sharing professional experience and fostering innovative student approaches, especially on topics related to diplomacy and effective engagement in the energy sector.

Her international corporate experience, combined with continuous engagement with academia, provides a powerful toolkit for addressing complex multinational issues, enabling the effective achievement of objectives.
