Renato Paço is the Group Director of Cloud & Infrastructure at Sky Media, based in London since 2021. He leads a team of 500 engineers across four European markets — the UK, Italy, Germany, and Austria — as well as at the engineering hub in Chennai, India. In this role, he is responsible for driving the group’s technology strategy and ensuring operational excellence in cloud computing and IT services.

From 2016 to 2021, Renato led a team of 250 people at Claranet Portugal during a significant period of growth, which saw the company become the leading IT services provider in the country. He also served for one year as interim CEO of Claranet Brazil, where he oversaw the strategic transition of the local operation.

With a strong technical background and a sharp business mindset, Renato began his career as an entrepreneur, founding IT services and consultancy companies. He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a postgraduate diploma in Management from AESE Business School.

Renato is widely recognized by colleagues, team leaders, and clients for his integrity, transparency, and ability to build bridges. He is deeply committed to people and team development, consistently seeking projects that generate positive impact in communities. He has been involved in entrepreneurship and business development initiatives through organizations such as ANJE and JCI.

He is married and the father of four daughters.
