Rodrigo Camacho is an economist at the Government of Abu Dhabi, where he focuses on the design and monitoring of public policies and the development of strategic analyses of a geopolitical and economic nature. Over the past five years, he has worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, advising Executive Boards across Latin America, Europe, Africa, the United States, and the Middle East, with a focus on strategic planning and financial modeling in the energy, real estate, agricultural, and industrial sectors.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), where he distinguished himself as a top-performing student. From an early age, he was actively involved in civic and academic life, having served as president and coordinator of several student associations.

In parallel, he has contributed to the public debate through opinion articles published in outlets such as Expresso, Público, Observador, Jornal de Negócios, and Diário de Notícias, reflecting his interest in Portugal’s development and his commitment to promoting informed civic participation.

Rodrigo has been a Young Advisor at the Portuguese Diaspora Council since October 2025.
