Sara Aguiar holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Nova FCSH and a Master’s in International Management from Nova SBE, but her career has been shaped by innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology—areas in which she has over seven years of experience across six different countries. She has held roles ranging from founder of a startup to assistant professor at Católica SBE and ISEG, from the European Commission in Brussels to Amazon Web Services in Madrid.
She is currently a Brand and Digital Product Manager in a global innovation team at Procter & Gamble in Geneva, and writes a weekly newsletter about her journey to becoming a Chief Innovation Officer. She also co-leads the social impact project Ponto Zero, which includes a podcast, a mentorship program, and a book published by Contraponto (Bertrand). Additionally, she is part of the Reflection Group “O Futuro Já Começou,” where she discusses the country’s future monthly with the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
Sara Aguiar has been a Young Advisor at the Conselho da Diáspora Portuguesa since July 2024.
