Projects for the Future of the Diaspora – First official meeting between the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board of the Portuguese Diaspora.
On the 29th of September, at the Hotel Miragem, in Cascais, the first official meeting was held between the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board of the Portuguese Diaspora, with the purpose of discussing, planning and evaluating the future plans, activities and projects of the Council. The meeting was attended by His Excellency, the Minister of the Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva, who reflected on the future of the Portuguese Economy and the role that the Diaspora could play in supporting Portugal’s economic growth.
The Advisory Board of the Portuguese Diaspora is a support body for the Council, created in June 2022, with a team composed of businessmen and leading personalities of the highest level of various institutions and led by Pedro Reis, former President of Aicep and Director Executive at Bcp Capital.

The Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Diaspora Council, which celebrates the Council's 11st anniversary, was held on December 20 and 21, 2023, at the Palácio Cidadela in Cascais.
