Pedro Lino accumulates the position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors in two companies in the financial area, Optimize Investment Partners, SGOIC SA, and in DIF Broker SA, the latter being part of the Grupo Big since 2022.
His interest in financial markets started early. At the age of 9, he followed the quotes of some companies on television and started investing in the financial markets at the age of 16. Ten years later he acquired a stake in DIF Broker.
In 2002, Pedro was elected Director of DIF Broker and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2003, a position he still holds today.
During January 2017 and August 2021, he was Director of DIF Markets-Value Agent, based in Uruguay, acquired by DIF Broker from Saxo Bank A/S.
In October 2018, he joined Optimize Investment Partners as an Executive Director and is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 2020, Pedro was elected President of the Optimize SICAV, based in Luxembourg.
Pedro Lino is a member of the Order of Certified Accountants and the Order of Economists and a founding member of the OPCR.
Degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics, in 1998.
Pedro Lino has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since December 2022.
