3rd edition EurAfrican Forum – In search for a common ground

With the theme “In search for a common ground”, the Forum that promotes the relations of the European and African continent through the power of the diasporas, will take place on July 2 and 3 of July, at NOVA SBE.

“In search for a common ground” is the theme of the 3rd edition of the platform that promotes the power of diasporas as a connecting force between people, cultures, countries and continents, identifying agents of transformation and European and African leaders who aim to innovate and to shake the international agenda of the two continents.

In 2020, five main themes will be debated, focusing on the diasporas, climate change and commercial flows between both continents.

Panel 2 – Matrix (energy) just transitions

Panel 3 – Made in Africa: emerging and fast track business

Panel 4 – African culture feeding the world

Panel 5 – Connecting the unconnected

With the High Patronage of the Portuguese Republic and the institutional support of the Portuguese Government, the EurAfrican Forum Chairman is the Portuguese Diaspora Counselor, José Manuel Durão Barroso.

In two editions, 700 participants contributed to the creation of the EurAfrican community made up of artists, activists, NGOs, entrepreneurs and political representatives.
